Screen Distortions
Distort
Animate screen distortion with independently adjustable horizontal and vertical frequencies.
Distort displaces the screen using animated waves. It is a separate effect from Displace View and Texture Distortion.
This reference is based on the Distort Volume component included in the package; the original GitBook did not contain a dedicated page for it.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Speed | Animation speed of the distortion. |
| Amplitude | Strength of the displacement, from 0 to 0.1. Set above zero to activate the effect. |
| Fraction X | Horizontal wave frequency; defaults to 50. |
| Fraction Y | Vertical wave frequency; defaults to 25. |
Add it through Add Override > Rich FX > Screen Distortions > Distort and register IE.RichFX.Distort under After Post Process.
